The Adams Morgan Historic Hotel project is a full-service hotel located in the heart of the Adams Morgan neighborhood of Washington, DC. The project consists of a newly constructed building, the restoration of a historic church, the creation of dynamic public spaces, and the opening of a restaurant designed to serve both neighborhood residents and visiting hotel guests. Pictured preassembled at Thermo-Kool’s factory is an actual size 16’4” x 12’4” x 9’0” high Thermo-Kool walk-in cooler/cooler combination which is one of seven Thermo-Kool walk-ins that recently shipped to the Adams Morgan Historic Hotel, Washington DC. Thermo-Kool’s uncompromising commitment to the highest level of quality and excellent customer service make a perfect fit for the historical facility. Thermo-Kool’s high density DURATHANE panel perimeter allowed each of the Thermo-Kool walk-ins to be preassembled prior to shipment for a thorough quality control inspection to avoid “hidden costs” at the time of installation. With Thermo-Kool’s ability to manufacture in 1” panel increments the walk-ins were manufactured in the exact sizes needed to maximize storage space capabilities with no “cutting and pasting” required in the field! The white stucco aluminum provided on the interior of the walk-ins along with LED light fixtures ensure maximum illumination is provided. The walk-in beverage coolers are designed with Thermo-Kool’s DURA-Floor Heavy duty structural support floor to give additional strength of up to 12,000 lb stationary load per square foot to the floors. NSF approved foamed-in-place interior ramps were provided as an integral part of the floor design. In addition to the LED lights the walk-ins are equipped with temperature alarms with door monitors, motion detectors and panic switches, 14” x 14” peep windows and vinyl swing doors. The stainless steel interior and exterior doors have 42” high 1/8” aluminum treadplate kick plates and jamb guards on the interior and exterior to protect the doors against excessive abuse and traffic. In addition to the doors, 42” high 1/8” aluminum wainscot for the exposed exterior and the interior are provided for the beer and beverage cooler walk-ins.
